CGS UK is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as a “receipt and transmission” broker. It is part of an international group of companies headquartered in Singapore.
All trade instructions received by CGS-CIMB Securities (UK) Ltd (“CGS-CIMB UK”) are entered into the group Order Management Systems either by the clients themselves or manually by a member of CGS-CIMB UK staff. CGS-CIMB Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd receives all the instructions as the host of the OMSs.
For cash equity trades CGS-CIMB Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd or its affiliates (or other brokers on its behalf in markets where the group is not represented) execute trades in the following markets. All crosses of stock are put through the appropriate market as required by local regulations.
All CFD trade instructions received by CGS-CIMB UK are transmitted to CGS-CIMB Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd and subsequently passed by CGS Singapore to a Prime Broker which will execute the trade.
CGS-CIMB Securities (UK) Limited (CCSUK) is authorised and regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority FRN 163037. It is licenced to provide services to Professional and Elective Professional clients as defined in the FCA handbook COBS 3.5.1.
